Gassan Lake City Golf Course and Resort - Located in the South East of Chiang Mai, Lake City was opened in 2005 and offers some very challenging holes. Set in a beautiful backbrop, Lake City offers green and bunkers that are not for the faint hearted.
The Royal Chiangmai Golf Resort opened in February 1996. The course was designed by 5 times British Open Champion, Peter Thompson of Thompson Wolveridge and Perrett, covering 2,000 rias of the former fruit orchard. The course is not particularly long, measuring 6969 yards from the pro tees, so you need more accuracy than length.
Alpine Golf is one of the finest courses in Thailand. The course is extremely well maintained and features lightning fast greens and undulating fairways. This picturesque hilly golf course was created from flat rice paddy fields and may remind you of places like Chiang Mai, Hua Hin or even Myrtle Beach.
The course opened December 24, 2005 and located next to is the hills east of Chiang Mai. Chiangmai Highlands is located 30 minutes from the Chiangmai Airport on highway 1317, near Sankaempang Hot Springs.
Gassan Khuntan Golf Club & Resort - This very challenging golf course features Bermuda grass fairways and Tidwarf greens with impressing views on both sides of Doi Khuntan Mountain ranges. With water to carry on nearly every holes and sharp edges grass bunkers some of the holes remind of a Peter Dye design. Gassan Khuntan’s design features many sharp doglegs, island greens, water to carry on many holes, and steep-edged grass bunkers throughout the golf course. The layout is on par to other famous world class championship golf courses. |
